The TROY TEPRS LACROSSE CLUB is a youth lacrosse program in Troy, Michigan, with 3 boys teams and 1 girls team. We take kids interested in learning more about the game of lacrosse and try to develop them into successful contributors to their high school teams. We focus on teaching/learning the fundamental skills of lacrosse and the fundamental skills of being a part of a team.
We play in a local league that is not a travel lacrosse league called the Suburban Lacrosse League. Our ages and play is governed by USA Lacrosse and our the team age ranges are as follows:
WHAT IS A TERP?
Our name and logo is used with permission from The University of Maryland. Their mascot is the Terrapin, which is a type of turtle. The mascot is casually called a "Terp" for short. The University of Maryland Lacrosse teams have a very deep, successful history, and when our program was born, this was the program we wanted to emulate.
